British FTSE 100 rises 2.56 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 2.56 percent, or 152.01 points, to 6,083.79 points.

Share price of Inmarsat increased by 5.16 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Old Mutual, Hargreaves Lansdown, St James's Place and ARM Holdings increased by 5.14 percent, 4.28 percent, 4.15 percent and 4.14 percent respectively.

There were just three losers of the blue chips the day, including Glencore (1.07 percent), Antofagasta (0.99 percent) and BHP Billiton (0.47 percent). Endit
