Urgent: First delegation for intra-Syrian talks arrives at Geneva's UN office

The first delegation for the intra-Syrian peace talks, the Syrian government delegation, arrived at Geneva's Palais de Nations Friday evening.

Spokeswoman of the UN Special Envoy for Syria Khawla Mattar indicated in a statement on Friday that Special Envoy Staffan de Mistura will kick off the intra-Syrian talks by meeting the government's delegation headed by the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the UN Bashar Jaafari.
