3 killed in mosque attack in Saudi city Al Ehsa

Three persons were killed in a fresh attack of a mosque in Saudi city Al Ehsa during Friday prayer, Al Arabiya local news reported.

The Interior Ministry has not confirmed the case, but Al Eqtisadia local online portal said the attack was against Mahasim mosque.

The attack occurred when a man broke into the mosque and shot the worshipers, local news reported.

This is the third attack that targeted mosques in the Eastern Province and the first case that reported in 2016.

The previous two targeted Shiite mosques and were adopted by Islamic State (IS) militant group. Endit
