Microsoft to recall 320,000 AC adapters in China

Xinhua, January 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

Microsoft will recall 320,000 AC adapters in China due to risk of overheating, China's top quality regulator announced Thursday.

The recall involves AC adapters in imported Surface Pro and Surface Pro2 as well as those in Surface Pro3 sold before July 15, 2015, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.

According to Microsoft, the AC adapters may overheat if the lines are bent or tangled.

Microsoft will change the affected AC adapters free of charge. Endi
