Ctrip to open SE Asian headquarters in Singapore

Xinhua, January 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

China's largest online travel website Ctrip.com announced Thursday it will establish its Southeast Asian headquarters in Singapore.

Singapore is the NASDAQ-listed company's fourth overseas branch after North America, South Korea and Japan.

The new regional headquarters will also feature a global IT data center and a center for international financial settlements and investments, said a press release.

Ctrip.com has accelerated its international expansion in recent years by working with Priceline and Travelfusion.

Earlier this month, it announced a 180-million U.S. dollar investment in India's largest online travel agency MakeMyTrip. Endi
