Spanish stock market rises 1.46 pct, closes at 8,692 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.46 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,692.50 points, up from the 8,567.70 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 7.59 percent, followed by OHL, Acerinox, Banco Sabadell, Repsol and Bankinter that rose 5.84 percent, 5.25 percent, 5.01 percent, 4.30 percent and 4.27 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led falls losing 2.06 percent, followed by Grifols, Gamesa, Aena, Amadeus and Ferrovial that lost 1.69 percent, 1.07 percent, 0.64 percent, 0.48 percent and 0.13 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.64 percent, which was slightly below the 1.7 percent of Monday, and Spain's risk premium closed at 120 points, falling from the124.20 points of Monday. Endit
