Chinese shares open lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.05 percent at 2,907.72 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index opened 1.11 percent lower at 10,079.22 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 1.23 percent to open at 2,132.22 points. Endi
