Dollar trades in lower 118 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 118 yen level early Tuesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.25-26 yen compared with 118.24-34 yen in New York and 118.56-58 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.0853-0853 dollars and 128.33-34 yen against 1.0846-0856 dollars and 128.32-42 yen in New York and 1.0814-0815 dollars and 128.21-25 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Enditem
