Europe-Ukraine Forum kicks off in Poland

The ninth edition of the Europe-Ukraine Forum kicked off on Sunday in the Polish town of Lodz, with economic and political cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union under the new circumstances high on the agenda.

The two-day conference consists of almost 40 discussion panels and report presentations and gathers almost 500 experts from Ukraine, the European Union, Russia, neighbor countries and the United States.

Guests attending the event include government representatives, politicians, businessmen, regional officials, international organizations and NGOs workers, as well as various analytic centers experts.

During the debates, experts discuss modernization, economic potential of the Ukraine, the country's energy security, regional cooperation with Poland and other European countries.

The Forum has been organized since 2007 by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies as a part of Economic Forum agenda. Endit
