Spanish stock market shoots up 3.30 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 spiked 3.30 percent on Friday to close at 8,722.90 points, up from the 8,444.20 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 2.1 percent in the week on the whole with the risk premium falling from the 129.10 points of last Friday to the 125.20 points of today. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.7 percent, showing no big variations when compared with a week ago.

On Friday, OHL shares led rises soaring 15.69 percent, followed by Gamesa, Repsol, Sacyr, Abertis A and FCC that rose 9.47 percent, 6.90 percent, 6.21 percent, 5.92 percent and 5.72 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 1.08 percent followed only by Endesa which lost 0.40 percent. Endit
