LME base metals prices increase on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Friday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 62.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.42 percent, to 4,467.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 25 U.S. dollars, or 1.70 percent, to 1,496 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 24 U.S. dollars, or 1.48 percent, to 1,651 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial zinc price increased 35 U.S. dollars, or 2.34 percent, to 1,528 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 102.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.19 percent, to 8,712.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 175 U.S. dollars, or 1.30 percent, to 13,625 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
