1,400 newly graduated officers commissioned to Afghan army

A total of 1,400 sergeants and soldiers, after completion of a four-month training course and receiving certificates, commissioned to the Afghan national army on Sunday.

"From now on, these graduated young people are in army service and would be deployed elsewhere in the country," acting defense minister Mohammad Masoom Stanikzai said at the graduation ceremony.

Several newly graduated soldiers and sergeants after receiving certificates expressed their readiness in fighting enemies to safeguard the sovereignty and security of Afghanistan. Enditem
