Albania's fuel prices drop in domestic market

Xinhua, January 17, 2016 Adjust font size:

Albania's fuel retail prices in the domestic market slightly dropped by an average of 5 ALL (0.04 U.S. dollar) per liter, reflecting a fairly drastic decline in international oil markets, Albanian Telegraphic Agency reported on Saturday.

According to fuel market experts, the downward trend in fuel retail prices in the domestic market is expected to continue in the coming days.

Many fuel filling stations in Tirana sold oil at 155 to 156 ALL per liter compared with 160 to 163 ALL per liter it was traded at the beginning of the week. One liter of gasoline was traded at 163 ALL.

Experts say the international price drop is not being reflected by the Albanian market, which seems to be a reoccurring problem. Endit
