Bilbao to face Barca in Spanish King's Cup quarters

Xinhua, January 15, 2016 Adjust font size:

Friday's draw for the quarterfinals of the Spanish King's Cup has produced a repeat of last season's final as Athletic Club Bilbao face FC Barcelona.

Barca won last season's final 3-0, but Athletic got their revenge as they defeated Barca 5-1 on aggregate in the Spanish Supercup at the start of the current season.

The ties will be held over the next two weeks and will be the fifth and sixth time the two sides face each other this season as they also play their BBVA Primera Liga match on Sunday in Barca's Camp Nou Stadium.

The other three ties see Celta face Atletico Madrid, while Sevilla play second division outfit, Mirandes, who have already knocked Malaga and Deportivo la Coruna out of the competition, and Valencia face Las Palmas for a place in the last four. Enditem
