British FTSE 100 decreases 0.72 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.72 percent, or 42.74 points, to 5,918.23 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 13.61 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Glencore, Tesco PLC, BHP Billiton, BP increased by 9.39 percent,6.13 percent, 6.04 percent and 3.53 percent respectively.

InterContinental Hotels Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 7.19 percent, followed by Carnival (6.41 percent), Merlin Entertainments (5.37 percent), Inmarsat (5.04 percent) and Taylor Wimpey (5.03 percent). Endit
