Myanmar MMA fighter to take part in One Championship in Yangon

Myanmar Mixed Martial Arts fighter Aung La N Sang known as "Burmese Python" will take part in upcoming One Championship to be hosted at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon in March, sports circle said Friday.

The Kachin nationality Aung La N Sang returned to his homeland for the first time in over a decade after moving to the United States as a teenager.

He was born in Myanmar and left when he was 18 to study agriculture in the US state of Indiana.

With ONE Championship scheduled to take place on March 18, Asia's largest and the world's most exciting martial arts event being hosted here in Myanmar, it will bring a lot of excitement to people and will help promote the country, some sports experts said. Endit
