At least 2 killed in mortar shell attack in Mogadishu

At least two civilians were killed and three others were injured in a mortar shelling attack near Somalia's presidential palace in capital Mogadishu Thursday.

Witnesses said the dead are two elderly women living at an internally displaced persons' camp in Mogadishu.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, though Somali Al-Shabaab militants have carried similar attacks before in the city. Enditem
