Kaka not on the list: says Luneng

Xinhua, January 7, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese Super League (CSL) side Shandong Luneng on Thursday denied the potential move of former FIFA World Player of the Year Kaka.

"The report is not true," a Luneng official told Xinhua, adding that the rumors were rampant recently.

It is not the first time that Kaka was connected with Chinese clubs. Another CSL side Shanghai Sipg F.C. also denied the news about Kaka last week.

As the 2007 FIFA World Player of the year, Kaka played for Orlando City of MLS last season, but the team did not make the playoffs. The 34-year-old also had played for AC Milan and Real Madrid in his earlier career. Endit
