Hong Kong stocks close down 0.99 pct

Hong Kong stocks fell 218.51 points, or 0.99 percent, to close on Monday at 21,919.62 points.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 21,880.51 and 22,151.73. Turnover totaled 40.68 billion HK dollars (about 5.23 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
