French monthly unemployment rate slightly down in Nov.

According to the Labor Ministry's monthly data released on Thursday, a total of 3.574 million people in the French mainland were reported to be jobless in November, down by 15,000 job demands from December.
The number of young people registered as out of work in mainland France declined by 1.1 percent last month, as "employment policy in favor of youth proves its efficiency," said Labor Minister Myriam El Khomri.
"In this period of gradual recovery, it is essential to consolidate growth and strengthen including notably training and support of the most vulnerable jobseekers," the minister added in a statement.
According to the national statistical authority, Insee, France hit 18-year high unemployment rate during the July-September period with unemployment rate stood at 10.2 percent, or 2.941 million jobless claims registered over the period.
With the overseas departments taken into account, the quarterly jobless rate rose to 10.6 percent.
It estimated joblessness trend (in France mainland and overseas departments) to slow to 10.4 percent by mid 2016 on expected strong growth. Endit
