British FTSE 100 increases 0.80 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday increased by 0.80 percent, or 48.26 points, to 6,083.10 points.

Share price of Anglo American increased by 5.51 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Antofagasta, Glencore, BG Group and Royal Dutch Shell 'A' increased by 4.37 percent, 3.38 percent, 3.32 percent and 3.05 percent respectively.

Rolls-Royce Holdings led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.05 percent, followed by Marks & Spencer Group (1.05 percent), ITV (1.03 percent), Whitbread (0.86 percent) and Reckitt Benckiser Group (0.66 percent). Endit
