LME base metals close lower on Tuesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Tuesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 49 U.S. dollars, or 1.03 percent, to 4,687 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 18 U.S. dollars, or 1.18 percent, to 1,505 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 11.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.67 percent, to 1,706 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 18 U.S. dollars, or 1.17 percent, to 1,518 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 170 U.S. dollars, or 1.91 percent, to 8,725 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.34 percent, to 14,625 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
