At least two civilians were killed and ten others wounded after car bomb exploded at a busy road in the center of Mogadishu on Saturday, police and witnesses said.
According to police officer Ahmed Ganey, the car bomb which exploded at Makka Al-Mukarrama road left five civilians and five Somali police officers including Waberi district police commissioner injured. (Somalia-Car Bomb)

LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan -- One attacker was killed while three Afghan police personnel wounded in a suicide car bombing in Afghan southern province of Helmand on Saturday, police said.
"The blast took place in Gereshk district at around midday. The bomber attacked the convoy of Gereshk police chief Mohammad Ismahil. ANKARA -- At least 68 militants of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) have been killed in ongoing military operations in southeastern Turkey over the last four days, a security official said Saturday.

JAKARTA -- The Indonesian authorities had located the capsized ship in Sulawesi waters which sank earlier on Saturday, a senior police officer said.
