Roma set to sign Brazil goalkeeper Alisson

Xinhua, December 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson has reportedly agreed to sign for Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma.

But the 23-year-old is unlikely to make the move until June due to the fact Roma already have three non-EU players in their squad, the maximum allowed in Italy's top flight.

Alisson's Brazilian club Internacional will receive half of the 10 million-euro transfer fee, corresponding to their 50% ownership of the player, the Sambafoot news portal said.

Currently Brazil's first-choice goalkeeper, Alisson made his international debut in the Selecao's 3-1 victory over Venezuela in a World Cup qualifier in October.

The keeper has also been linked with a possible move to Juventus or Roma. Endit
