France reports fewer new enterprises in Nov.

Xinhua, December 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

France recorded a decline in creation of new enterprises in November from a month earlier due to unfavorable economic and investment climate, data released by national statistics bureau, INSEE showed on Friday.

At the end of last month, 44,218 new firms were created in France, down 0.7 percent from October due notably to decreasing businesses related to construction and business support activities, according to the report.

Excluding self-managed enterprises, the number of newly-created enterprises went up by 0.3 percent to 26,153 over the period.

On yearly basis, the number of newly created enterprises dropped by 3.5 percent following a 21.7 percent decline in self-managed micro-entrepreneurs' registrations mainly in trade and construction businesses. Enditem
