Spanish stock market falls 1.63 pct, closes at 9,717 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 1.63 percent on Friday to close at 9,717.10 points, down from the 9,878.50 points of Thursday.

Share values were down 1.63 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium closing at 114.70 points on Friday, slightly below the 115.10 points of Monday.

Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.69 percent, showing no big differences when compared with the 1.7 percent of Monday.

On Friday's session, Mediaset shares led falls losing 3.85 percent, followed by Telefonica, Gas Natural, Inditex, Enagas and DIA that lost 3.44 percent, 2.63 percent, 2.60 percent, 2.31 percent and 2.13 percent respectively.

On the other hand, FCC shares led rises climbing 28.15 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Sacyr, Acerinox and Abertis A that rose 4.29 percent, 2.43 percent, 1.93 percent and 0.68 percent respectively. Endit
