Ulyanov claims giant slalom in Far East Cup

Dmitrij Ulyanov led a Russian clean sweep of medals at the men's giant slalom at the Far East Cup on Friday.

Ulyanov finished first with 4.44 points from two races, beating Alexey Zhilin into second place, while Evgenij Pyasik had to settle for bronze.

In the women's giant slalom, Japanese Asa Ando nipped Czech Matina Dubovska by a slim margin with another Japanese finishing third.

The Far East Cup in Chongli, a ski venue for the 2022 Winter Olympics, attracted 150 men and 60 women. Endi
