British pop singer Jessie J performed at a mega-concert here Saturday night, attracting a huge crowd of her Cambodian fans.

The pop and R&B singer's first album in 2011 'Who Are You' landed in the top 15 on the Billboard Top 200 and had six top 10 singles.

This year, Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, achieved phenomenal success with her hit single 'Flashlight' from the movie Pitch Perfect 2.

This adds to her arsenal of No.1 hit songs all over the world, such as 'Price Tag', 'Domino' and 'Bang Bang'.

"It's my first time here. It's been amazing so far. Everywhere is so Christmas thing and pretty. Everyone has been so nice and kind and I want really smiley," she said during a Q&A session with her Cambodian fans prior to the concert. "Yes, I'm so happy to be here."

The concert, held at the Diamond Island complex, was co-hosted by Cambodian telco Smart Axiata and Universal Music.

Thomas Hundt, chief executive officer of Smart Axiata, said the concert was estimated to draw more than 40,000 spectators.

He said Jessie J was the second big-name artist Smart had brought to Cambodia after it took American pop singer Demi Lovato to perform onstage here in May.

"Bringing these world-class artists to Cambodia is not about money, it is about sharing love, sharing love with our beloved customers," he said.

One of her fans Chhun Venyuory, 16, said she was very excited to see Jessie J in person and hoped that more world-class stars would come to perform in Cambodia. Enditem
