Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon on Friday called on negotiators and ministers to reach a final outcome the Paris climate talks.
"As secretary general of the United Nations, I'm urging the negotiators to make their decision, based on global vision," he said, adding that "this is not the moment of talking about national perspectives."
"A low-carbon economy will help implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, which were adopted by the world leaders with a strong enthusiasm last September," Ban stressed.
"I'm urging and appealing all the states parties to take the final decision for humanity," he stated.
French Foreign Minister and president of COP21 Laurent Fabius on Friday said he would present the final text to negotiators at 09.00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT) on Saturday.
"I will present to all the parties the text, which I'm sure, will be approved and be a great step forwards for all humanity," Fabius told the press.
Parties worked through the night on Thursday and resumed consultations with all groups Friday. Endit
