Japan revises GDP to annual 1.0 pct growth in Q3

The Japanese government on Tuesday revised its assessment on the world's third largest economy's growth in the third quarter of this year to an annualized 1.0-percent in inflation-adjusted terms.

The growth in real gross domestic product corresponded to a 0.3-percent increase from the previous quarter, the Cabinet Office said.

In a preliminary report released Nov. 16, the government said that the country's economy shrank an annualized real 0.8 percent in the reporting period. Enditem
