BiH, Montenegro sign border crossing protocol

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Montenegro signed Protocol on Cross-Border Supervision here on Monday.

It was signed by BiH Minister of Security Dragan Mektic and Rasko Konjevic, Interior Minister of Montenegro, on the sidelines of the forum "The EU-Western Balkans."

The protocol will enable better response against illegal migrants, organized crimes and human trafficking, said Mektic.

Konjevic, meanwhile, said the protocol will strengthen institutional cooperation between the two sides. There are no open issue between BiH and Montenegro, he added.

Mektic and Konjevic agreed to continue strengthening regional cooperation in accordance with the Convention on Police Cooperation in South East Europe. Enditem
