KIEV -- Two adults and six children were injured Sunday after a hand grenade was thrown into a group of people at a supermarket parking lot outside the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, authorities said Monday.
The incident occurred at about 6:35 p.m. local time (GMT 1635) in Bucha town, 28 km west of the capital, when an unknown man lobbed the grenade towards a crowd standing in the parking lot before driving away from the scene, according to the Interior Ministry's department in Kiev region.(Ukraine-Attack)

PHNOM PENH -- At least three Cambodian villagers have died and 31 others have been hospitalized in eastern Kratie province after consuming the cooked flesh of a big dog that was toxic, a local police chief confirmed on Monday.
"An old man, his daughter-in-law and their female-neighbor died on Sunday morning, hours after they ate a toxic dog meat delicacy," Kong Kimny, police chief of Snuol district, where the incident took place, told Xinhua, adding that the old man bought the contaminated carcass from the market to cook for food.(Cambodia-Food Poisoning)

MOGADISHU -- At least 145,200 people have been affected by flash floods since the onset of rainy season in October in Somalia, the UN humanitarian agency said.
The UN office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in its latest report received Monday that there has been a further reduction in rainfall in most areas of Juba and Shabelle basins inside Somalia as well as the Ethiopian highlands compared to the previous week.
