China's badminton legend Lin Dan, 32, will miss the World Super Series Finals in Dubai, scheduled from Dec. 9 to 13.

Lin, nicknamed "Super Dan", had just won the men's singles title at the Olympics test event held in Rio de Janeiro on Nov. 29.
