Chinese President Xi Jinping called on China and Zimbabwe to further transfer their traditional friendship into power of practical cooperation as he held talks with his Zimbabwean counterpart Robert Mugabe here on Tuesday.

China and Zimbabwe not only should be good friends on politics, but also should be good partners on development, said Xi, who is paying a state visit to the African country from Tuesday to Wednesday at the invitation of Mugabe. Endi
