BiH official calls for coordinated efforts against human trafficking

Xinhua, December 1, 2015 Adjust font size:

Security Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday called for a comprehensive and coordinated response in the region to fight against human trafficking.

The most important thing in fighting against such crimes was "regional cooperation and creation of regional networks of experts through joint investigations, police and prosecution teams", Dragan Mektic said at a conference over human trafficking.

The conference marked the completion of the regional project "Strengthening the fight against trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling in the Western Balkans".

All organizations and levels of governments should be involved in fighting against human trafficking, he added. Enditem
