Turkey's government led by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu won a vote of confidence in the 550-seat parliament on Monday with 315 votes for and 194 against after the victory of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the Nov. 1 early elections.

In his initial speech, Davutoglu said they would be "government of everyone, with no respecter of persons."

Davutoglu said he would immediately meet opposition party leaders at the parliament in order to discuss major issues of the country.

The government in Turkey must receive a vote of confidence from at least 276 deputies, constituting a simple majority.
