Singapore stocks close 0.11 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 3.18 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 2,855.94.

A total of 1.43 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.67 billion Singapore dollars (1.19 billion U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 225 to 166, while 540 others finished unchanged.

The STI index was down 25.57 points, or 0.89 percent, to close at 2,859.12 on Nov. 27. Enditem
