Xinhua, November 29, 2015 Adjust font size:

Kenyan police on Saturday issued an arrest warrant on Malik Yassin, a suspected Al-Shabaab fighter of British origin, who is believed to have sneaked into the country to carry out attacks on unspecified locations.

"Yassin is a British of Caucasian complexion. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. To disguise his appearance he may have shaved his beard, he may have shaved his hair or both. He is tall, slender and speaks with a British accent," the police said in its public alert released in Nairobi.

The police said Yassin is one of the Al-Shabaab foreign fighters, and urged the public to report any information on his whereabouts that would lead to his arrest.

In June this year, Thomas Evans, a British Al-Shabaab foreign fighter was killed in a foiled attack on Baure Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) camp in Lamu. Endit
