Premier Li meets Croatian parliament speaker

Xinhua, November 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Croatian Parliament Speaker Josip Leko on Thursday, calling for more progress in infrastructure and agricultural cooperation.

The meeting came just two days after a high-level economic and trade forum between China and Central and Eastern European countries in east China's Suzhou City, an event which Li said successfully outlined new priorities for bilateral cooperation.

Li said China will contribute to Croatian infrastructure such as the Rijeka port and the railway that links the port with Hungary and work with the European country more in agriculture, produce processing, civil aviation and tourism.

The premier said he also hopes for more exchanges between China and Croatia's legislative bodies.

Leko agreed on the success of the forum in Suzhou and said he looked forward to cooperation with China in port, railway and airport projects, tourism and food processing. Endi
