Blatter says only FIFA congress can ban him

Suspended FIFA president Sepp Blatter has declined to reveal whether FIFA ethics committee suggested a life ban on him.
"I cannot confirm what is being done. That is confidential, I'd be a bad person if I told you that," Blatter told Swiss broadcaster SRF.
Blatter criticised the ethics committee and said they were not entitled to ban him from his office as the world soccer head is now involved in the soccer corruption investigation.
"I'm not a FIFA official, I'm the elected president of the Congress," Blatter was quoted by Reuters. "If one does not agree with the way I do my job, one has to turn to the congress that elected me," he said.
Both Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini had been suspended for 90 days as Platini's lawyer said on Tuesday that ethics investigators had sent a report to the judgement panel recommending he serve a life ban. Endi
