Urgent: Russian Defense Ministry confirms a Su-24 crashed in Syria, not violating Turkish airspace

The Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday confirmed that a Su-24 warplane was shot down and crashed in Syria.

"A Russian Su-24 located at the altitude of 6,000 meters crashed in Syria, allegedly because of gunfire from the ground...The plane strictly located over Syrian territory," Interfax news agency quoted an unnamed Defense Ministry source as saying. Endi
