Palestinian woman shot dead in Jerusalem stabbing attack: police

Xinhua, November 23, 2015 Adjust font size:

Two Palestinian women on Monday stabbed two Israelis in central Jerusalem before security forces shot and killed one of them and wounded the other, police said.

The incident occurred near Mahne Yehuda, the city's main marketplace, police spokeswoman Luba Samri said.

A spokesman with the emergency services said two Israeli men, one 27-year-old and the other in his 80s, were lightly injured in the attack.

The incident was the latest in a two-month wave of Israeli-Palestinian violence, which so far claimed the lives of more than 90 Palestinians and 21 Israelis. Endit
