China non-ferrous metal production slows in October

Xinhua, November 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

China's production of 10 major non-ferrous metals last month grew at a slower pace than a year ago, the top economic planner said Saturday.

Output of non-ferrous metals grew 2.6 percent year on year in October, down from a growth of 4.8 percent for last October, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement.

In the first 10 months, combined production rose 8.4 percent to 42.61 million tonnes, the statement said.

The 10 major non-ferrous metals include copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel, stannum, antimony, mercury, magnesium and titanium. Endi
