Liaoning ends Sichuan's winning streak, Xinjiang remain unbeaten

Liaoning snapped Sichuan's winning streak with a 114-107 victory in the seventh round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday, while Xinjiang continued their unbeaten run after thrashing Shenzhen 115-84.
The lead changed hands several times and the two teams tied at 22-22 after the first quarter. But last season's runner-up Liaoning almost led from the second quarter to end.
Sichuan, which has won six games in a row, fought back in the fourth quarter to cut down the deficit to two points with Mengda's two three-pointers. But they could not go further and had to accept their first defeat.
Liaoning's Hudson scored a game-high 36 points for Liaoning, Randolph had 28 points and 15 rebounds, Li Xiaoxu collected 19 points, Guo Ailun contributed 13 points and 10 assists.
Dentmon grabbed 35 points to lead the Sichuan team, Harris finished with 22 points, Haddadi contributed 19 points and 13 rebounds, Mengda added 18 points.
Five players scored double-digit points to help Xinjiang grab 115-84 win over Shenzhen at home. Xinjiang took full control of the game and enjoyed their seventh straight win.
Marshon Brooks's team-high 34 points helped Jiangsu beat Foshan 128-112, the team's first win in the season, while Foshan had to taste its seventh consecutive loss.
