Slovak police arrests 20 suspected of terror, illegal entry

Slovak police has arrested 20 individuals for illegal entry or exhibiting signs of participating terrorist activities, Slovak Minister of Internal Affairs Robert Kalinak said on Thursday.

At least 16 individuals have been extradited from Slovakia and four of them are being held by the police and placed under investigation.

According to Robert Kalinak, among the arrested, a Saudi Arabian has expressed fundamentalist views.

"We have identified changes in his behavior, regarding to his mental health. He also started to obtain and test larger flying machines", said Kalinak.

The second individual was identified as an Algerian, who was believed to have had a fake wedding with a Slovak citizen and lived in Smizany, a city in east Slovakia.

The other two individuals are being held for possession of illegal documents. Their identities are still being verified. Endit
