Indian stocks tanked in late afternoon trade on Wednesday tracking the weakness in global markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,482.52, 381.95 points or 1.48 percent down from previous close of 25,864.47, with a turnover of 522.65 crore rupees (about 79.1 million US dollars). Endit
