Xinhua, November 18, 2015 Adjust font size:

Ho Tram Open, an Asian Tour-sanctioned golf event with a total of 1.5 million U.S. dollars prizes, will kick off on Dec. 3-6 in Vietnam's southern Ba Ria Vung Tau province, organizers said Wednesday.

Taking place at The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip golf course, the event will see competition among Ryder Cup Captain & Open Champion Darren Clarke, U.S. Open Champion Geoff Ogilvy, Ryder Cup legend Thomas Bjorn, two-time European Tour winner Robert Rock and the Asian Tour's leading players.

Brian McFadden, famous Irish singer-songwriter, will also play at the golf tournament and sing "Flying Without Wings" - a huge hit from his time as a lead singer of the Irish boy-band Westlife.

The Ho Tram Open is managed by the U.S.-based Troon Golf, the world's leading golf management company. The tournament will be televised live by key Vietnamese TV channels and many foreign ones.  Endi
