Chinese shares close lower on Tuesday

China's stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.06 percent to close at 3,604.8 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index lost 0.86 percent to close at 12,511.55 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, down 2.86 percent to close at 2,717.05 points. Endi
