Vestas receives 50 MW order from China's Hanas Group

Xinhua, November 14, 2015 Adjust font size:

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has received an order of 50 megawatts for a wind power energy project in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the company announced on Friday.

It is the fifth project in three years with Hanas New Energy, a Chinese regional gas supplier, and entails delivery of 25 wind-turbines of the V110-2.0 megawatt type, Vestas said in a statement.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a two-year service agreement. Delivery is expected in the second quarter of 2016.

With the order, Hanas Group has purchased a total of 850 megawatts of Vestas turbines, which Vestas says "underlines the strong partnership between the two companies."

Headquartered in Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia in southwestern China, Hanas Group is a clean energy solutions provider and has purchased turbines from Vestas since 2011.

The two parties signed a cooperation agreement in October 2015, reiterating their common goal to reinforce mutually beneficial collaboration in the years to come. Endit
