Putin may meet with Iran's Rouhani in Tehran

Xinhua, November 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

Russian President Vladimir Putin may meet with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani during an upcoming gas exporting forum in Tehran, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said Friday.

Putin will no doubt go to Iran's capital Tehran for the third summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) scheduled for Nov. 23, and "a meeting with the summit host is possible," Ushakov told reporters.

The GECF is a gathering of the world's leading gas producers. The first summit was held in Qatar's capital Doha in 2011. Endi
